About La Mesa RV
In 1972 we opened a single RV dealership in La Mesa, California, a suburb of San Diego. Since our beginning, “Experience Life” has been incorporated into every RV we sell. We believe in treating our customers like family and strive to make your experience with us as enjoyable as possible.
Today La Mesa RV Center is headquartered in San Diego and operates several RV dealerships in California , Arizona, New Mexico, and Florida. Over the years we have grown to become one of the largest multi-location RV dealerships in the world. Selling high-quality motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels and toy haulers from a range of leading RV manufacturers, La Mesa RV is proud to be recognized as a leader in the recreational vehicle industry.
As a service technician at La Mesa RV, we will teach you to work on all of the top brands, like Tiffin, Winnebago and Fleetwood, plus many more.
A potential candidate will be hired and become a full-time employee by one of our many dealerships across the nation, be sent to La Mesa RV Technical Training Institute receiving full pay and allowance, and return as an RVIA Registered Technician. Given 6 more months of hands-on experience in the field, that technician should have what it takes to be administered the RVIA Certified Technician Exam and become a certified technician, potentially earning higher wages.
Utilizing the 400 hours of the RVIA course material covering all facets of RV systems and components, we add an additional 200 hours of hands-on troubleshooting and repair training along with La Mesa’s policies and procedures setting the student up for direct placement into their home store service center.
